Thank you for your interest, and please do not take us wrong
but we can't do appraisals any more. 
On a weekly basis at least 100 to 200 e-mails come in asking us to do appraisals of  their items, 
(99.9 % of the time for free) that's more then 3,000 a year and it just can't be done.

We work 10 to 12 hours a day on our Antique Web Mall, and
our Antique Business in general, We just don't have the time.

At one time we did do this for everyone who asked to the best of our ability.
We understand it comes with the territory, when one has a popular site.

I will offer you this:
These days almost everything worth collecting has a number of price quides written on the subject.
Go a good large books store, or antique show, or a good library and with a little work you will find 
out what you need to know. 
Most good bookstores have a nice section on antiques and collectibles.
I have been doing so for 27+ years, and knowledge of antiques and collectibles comes little by little 
as you work for it.
