Ellaine Combs has been creating dolls for 31 years. She does doll restorations, period costuming (to the "T"), repairs of antique dolls, as well as newer unfortunate ones. She also creates look -a- like dolls on commission, from photographs. She has been sculpting original pieces in clay, and has finished them in bronze as well as porcelain.
Ellaine has attended Seeley School of Dollmaking. She is currently studying under Kwan Wu's School of Sculpting and Art. In addition, she has been commissioned by Kwan Wu to sculpt and create a doll of his own daughter. She studied at the Nelson Art Gallery of Kansas City MO. for five years, and has had the privilege of having many of my works on display.
